“I grew up in Malaysia, where I spent my formative years dreaming of a better future. After graduating, I worked in Malaysia for a year, gaining my first taste of the professional world. But I knew I wanted more—so I took a leap of faith and moved to Singapore in 2017.

My early days in Singapore were far from glamorous. For three months, I lived in backpacker hostels, starting in a 16-bed dorm and eventually moving to a 4-bed room. Money was tight, and every dollar counted. But I was determined to make it work. Eventually, I saved enough to rent a small place, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

Over the next seven years, I worked as a site engineer and project engineer, facing countless challenges on construction sites and in my personal life. The long hours, high-pressure deadlines, and moments of homesickness tested my resilience. But with every obstacle, I grew stronger and more determined.

Now, I’m in Australia, starting a new chapter in my life. From the bustling streets of Singapore to the vast landscapes of Australia, my journey has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But through it all, I’ve learned the value of hard work, adaptability, and never giving up.
